Jiong Li receives V Foundation research grant

Professor Jiong Li has been awarded a two-year research grant by the V Foundation. The title of the grant is 'FOSL1 degradation overcomes cisplatin resistance in HNSCC.' This study aims to validate whether targeting FOSL1 with PROTAC molecules can eliminate cancer stem cells and overcome cisplatin resistance in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCCs). This is his second quick success following the recent NIH R21 award.
