Reserve an Instrument

Access and schedule time on shared research instruments at VCU.

Available Instruments

The Center offers specialized instruments to the VCU research community by reservation only:

• Clariostar Multimode Plate Reader
• Echo 550 Acoustic Liquid Handler
• X-Ray Diffractometer

How to Reserve

Make reservations through the university’s RAMS FORCE portal. Select the Reservations tab on the left in the portal.

Training and Access Requirements

Before reserving, ensure you are trained and qualified to use the requested instrument.

• X-Ray Diffractometer users must complete the Radiation Safety Training for Research Employees available in Blackboard.
